Description
The health and safety of our members is the UWEBC’s top priority. UW–Madison is monitoring the COVID-19 situation in collaboration with local, state and federal agencies. Based on campus' guidance, this meeting will be held via web only to allow our members a convenient and safe way to attend.
While tracking spending for traditional procurement activities has become easier with better processes within ERP's, other digital solutions and an ever growing eye on COGS, indirect spend still presents a challenge as organizations may not have complete control or visibility of all spend categories. At this meeting we will explore how other members and subject matter experts are aggregating indirect spend categories for reporting and decision making purposes. American Family Insurance will share their experience on their journey so far and we will have a panel discussion along with an interactive Q&A session with all of you. Panelists will be Wayne Thompson, Cal Nitka, Sourcing COE Manager, American Family Insurance , Darrin Ruck, Supply Chain Supervisor, Sub-Zero Group and Tom Moen, Associate Director of Global Sourcing, J.J. Keller.
