The health and safety of our members is the UWEBC’s top priority. UW–Madison is monitoring the COVID-19 situation in collaboration with local, state and federal agencies. Based on campus' guidance, this meeting will be held via web only to allow our members a convenient and safe way to attend.
The rapid pace of change concerning customer buying behaviors and preferences – aspects of which have been accelerated by the pandemic situation – has created an imperative for marketing leaders at every level to reassess where their teams focus effort and how work gets done. An increasing "need for speed" is prompting a move toward fit-for-purpose operating models characterized by flatter organizations, faster information flows, more cross-functional collaboration, increased agility and flexible ways of working. How are you as the leader of a team responding to the current moment?
We’ll begin by taking in perspective on our topic from Laura Huggins, AVP of Marketing at UWEBC member company Church Mutual Insurance. Following Laura's talk, you’ll have the opportunity to listen in on a discussion among three marketing leaders around their approaches to leading and managing their teams – and participate in the conversation by asking your questions via live chat. Our panel will feature Keri Brooke (SVP, Marketing - Sales Cloud) of Salesforce, Mark Rothwell (VP, Marketing) of WPS Health Solutions and Jeremiah Gibber (CMO) of RiskLens.

From team structure design, to talent acquisition and development, to project and process management, to collaboration methods, we'll share and explore approaches that have proven to be effective for marketing leaders today.
