Description
The health and safety of our members is the UWEBC’s top priority. UW–Madison is monitoring the COVID-19 situation in collaboration with local, state and federal agencies. Based on campus' guidance, this meeting will be held via web only to allow our members a convenient and safe way to attend.
Risk mitigation in sourcing and procurement has always been a part of the process when managing supplier relationships. To say that risk has moved to the forefront of the procurement professionals thoughts is an understatement. In this interactive session, we will learn what types of risk members are now managing and if this is a long or short term effect. We will also address the traditional types of risk management, pre/post pandemic and how to structure are risk management model internally, so be prepared to participate in a group and breakout discussion! Pradeep Nedungadi, President of Visthar, will walk us through a risk management checklist he has employed for years and refined while working with overseas suppliers.
